Angie's Yummy Stew

An old favorite standby, stew. You can use just about anything in a stew and it still tastes great.

Angie's Yummy Stew

Potatoes, barley, rice, or noodles - The "substance" of the stew
Vegetables: Whole kernel corn, cut string beans, sliced carrots, green peas
Meat (beef or chicken, chopped and cooked in broth)
Thickening (I personally prefer corn starch but flour works, too)

Combine all cooked ingredients in any combination to your liking in stock pot or crock pot. Heat to bubbling and then turn heat to low. Stir in thickening. Eat it by itself, on biscuits, on buttered bread, in a pot pie. Freeze it if you make too much. You decide.
