My grandma taught me how to make fudge, and it is yummy. Yummier than any fudge you'll ever taste in your life. However, I just can't bring myself to share the recipe for that one. Sorry.
I will, however, share a personal favorite of mine that has no name, other than "Chicken Shit" that my dad called it once when he wanted me to make it. Obviously, I am open to suggestions for a name.
1 full boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 stick butter/margarine
1 package cooked fettuccine noodles
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 can milk (use empty c.o.c. soup can)
1 package ricotta cheese
8 ounces sliced ham, cut into pieces
1 package shredded mozzarella cheese
Garlic powder to taste
Chop chicken breast into small cubes and sautee in butter/margarine until golden brown. Spread in bottom of 9 x 13 glass baking pan. Combine noodles, cream of chicken soup, and milk over low heat and stir until smooth and creamy. Spread half the noodles over the chicken. Place scoops of ricotta over noodles. Layer ham over ricotta. Spread remaining noodles over ham and ricotta. Sprinkle mozzarella over top layer of noodles. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes or until cheese is golden brown. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Of course, you can use more or less chicken, ricotta, ham, and mozzarella to your liking, or leave the ricotta and/or ham out if you like. It's good either way.
